Franciscus Johannes Winter was convicted of spying for the Nazi's.

he was a ships steward from Antwerp who had entered England as a refugee, however his story was not beleieved and when they searched him they found about £100 in various currencies on him. After a while he admitted that he had been sent by the nazis to spy on convoys and and been given invisible ink to write letters to safe addresses in neutral countries.
